Brisée pastry with olive oil

● 500 g of flour

● 100 g of extra virgin olive oil
● 200 g of water

● salt
Preparation Similar to a traditional brisée pastry, this butter-less version uses olive oil instead of butter. This pastry is a simple base that can be used to make many other sweet and salty recipes.

Brisée dough with oil is easy to prepare and it is ideal for those who follow a vegan diet or have lactose intolerance.

Mix the ingredients, by adding first all the oil to the flour and then the water in two or three rounds depending on the consistency of the dough. Then, leave the dough to rest for at least 30 minutes, even better for an hour, before rolling it out.

Once ready, you can use it to delight yourself and your guests with many recipes such as pies, dumplings or sweet biscuits.
